Nice victory, but I agree we should have put at least one more in. Could we get just one of the strikers to gain some confidence? Is it by the way 9 different goalscores now?
Can we now shift focus on competing for Europa instead of worrying about the drop?
What an incredible start to the season, outstanding ![]()

Win is a win, but damn I was screaming to my screen. Fofana is way too nonchalantly, correia was bad in everything he did, kocho was just delaying every attack where we could have made 2-0 or create big chanches and Ure can’t take the level of the la liga. I think Ure is a mistake, hope he is gonna proof me wrong. Sierra played very well and so did Stassin. The only thing Stassin did bad was the 1v1 where he should have passed the ball
Sierra MOTM! He was brilliant as was Kike Salas.
No, Sierra also scored against Atletico. I’m curious about the form of Vargas when he is coming back. If he played like always and we put him on the left, then our attack is gonna look deadly (if stassin is putting the goals in).
Until we reach at least 30 points then no.
We beat Barcelona like 4-1 at Home last season… So nothing is a given.

RC Deportivo La Coruña 0–1 Sevilla FC
Sevilla FC win 1–0 against RC Deportivo La Coruña.
Primera Division
Another fantastic win! Not in our wildest dreams could we expect to start this well. It shows you what a great summer transfer window can do. The Sevilla board, sporting director, manager, players and fans all pulling in same direction again at last. We are seeing the fruits of our labour.
A great win and takes the pressure off the Barca gam3 now! We can just have a go!
It too early yet but things look better for sure. I don’t think we will be in trouble this season but don’t want to jinx it. Hopefully we get comfortably safe first then we can look to try get a European position.
We finally look like a team that knows what to do. The quality has improved and we have a good pattern to our play. Vamos Sevilla!
We are on 4 wins out of 6. Last year we didn’t reach four until week 8.
28 - Miguel Sierra
against Deportivo de A Coruña:
Only @SevillaFC footballer to have recorded +10 recoveries, +10 attempted dribbles, and +10 duels won (12) in a #LaLiga match since at least the 2005/06 season
Record for duels by a @SevillaFC player in the last six seasons in @LaLiga (28)
Second-highest duels tally for a player in Europe’s top five leagues this season (28, behind Brest’s Ajorque with 29 against Toulouse).
Second-highest number of duels won by a forward this season in Europe’s top five leagues (41, behind Budimir’s 42).
This is true! Things look very positive right now. Hopefully we keep players fit, avoid suspensions and keep this form up we can be at least in top 10 and maybe higher. Vamos!
Couldn’t watch the match as I was driving between countries, but extremely happy to see that we won.
3 points are 3 points no matter what… And the best part is we are getting comfortable with winning, even away.
On to Barca now. Vamos!
this was by far the most poised we’ve looked all season. i felt we were in control from the start and the goal was deserved. of course, depor helped us out with their idiotic red card. but even through that we showed maturity and control of the game in a way that was highly reassuring. we really could/should’ve had 1-2 more goals to put it away. im not sure if that’s on the good (creation) or bad (final pass/finishing) side of the ledger, but the game felt less close than a 0-1 suggests.
its just one game. and a midweek one (was depor rotating much? we definitely werent). so no need to overreact. but an away win giving Depor their first loss of the season is a fantastic result and three points that will age very very well.
go have fun against barca. dont overstress.
Couldn’t catch the game last night.
Great win away from home to inflict a first loss of the season on Depor.
An amazing start with 13 points from six matches. Free hit now against Barca so we may as well have a go!
I have it in mind to give this team a bit of grace since there’s alot of new faces, and cohesion won’t come overnight. But I’m still impressed by how well we played on both sides of the ball.
I’m happy we managed a 2nd consecutive clean sheet, but the red card helped us tremendously. We took every chance to foul Adama once he came on. Our guys got spooked! ![]()
I took notice of Agoume being more prominent in this game, while Fofana took the backseat (and perhaps preserving energy for the Barça game). Guridi can actually play a little bit, and showed some nifty footwork. He can be decent in that support role, and i think is currently the best option to partner Stassin. The other forwards will simply need to prove us otherwise.
I also saw a little more out of Felix, who’s starting to show more of his skillset. His final ball wasn’t as horrid as that 1st half vs Valencia, but he found himself in good spots.
And lastly, good goal from Sierra. He’s playing with house money as there’s currently no one available to take that starting role from him. Still young and has room to improve, but he’s working hard out there. I can only be proud. And seeing Giménez get burned by Stassin leading up to the goal was somewhat satisfying cause we were linked w him in the final days. Bullet dodged?? ![]()
just 6 matches and we already have one-third the points of last season.
Judging by the stats we have much better defense and more well-rounded team overall.
Great work Navarro & LGP I must say.
As they say, the devil is in the details.
At 8:41 you can see that sadly, not everyone on the bench celebrates the match-winning goal vs. Valencia. Not sure who that idiotic fuck was who’s walking calmly like he’s disappointed that we scored, Peque or Carmona? It’s always these below average players that may potentially ruin the atmosphere within the team.
Wouldn’t want to see anyone who’s not 100% in spirit with the club ever again wear this shirt.
Disgraceful…
The one with the shirt off just watching like a bastard and tying his shoes with no emotion whatsoever is the bitch-face Alfon.
From today I totally despise Alfon and want him out of the club, along with whoever the other piece of crap was, still not sure 100% but I think it is Carmona. Again, not 100% sure.
