Itβs because Sevilla is trying to trade land. With the new stadium, much of the open area will be removed. The team wants to do a land swap, basically giving up equal land at the Sevilla training grounds site in exchange for the public space. That does the residents of Nervion no good, as the training ground is like 6 miles away.
