Our La Liga season rather petering out. We had the chances to get something from that game but didn’t take them and the victims of our own downfall with both Real goals avoidable.
We could still finish in the bottom half and 49 points has to be down there with one of our lower points tallies that I can remember.
However, we’ll take wherever we finish after the disastrous start that saw us in a relegation battle and win on Wednesday we get Champions League football and the season would be decent.
Lose though and no European football and it would have been a very disappointing season and disastrous for the club not to qualify for Europe for the first time in years.

If we don’t finish the season with at least 50 points, it’ll the worst since 2001-02. As a comparison, even worse than the infamous 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, where we bagged 50 points back to back.
