MD25: RCD Espanyol v Sevilla FC [21-22]

It’s more a must win the other way mate. If we lose to :poop: we could just be 2 points ahead of them if they beat Mallorca today.

Depends which way you look at it but yeah a must win either way. Not helped with the players who we now won’t have available.

It’s the fact if :poop: win later then we will be closer to them than to Real Madrid. We are fighting 2 battles currently.

Are you kidding me YEN? It’s offside but that should be 100% score

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. YEN continuing his great form from last week… Offsides or not, that was embarrassing.

The fact that he’s offside, just makes him even worse.

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

The ref seemed to be on a mission, but our weak and pathetic, mid-table performance at best didn’t help at all.

Piss poor.

To be honest considering the 2nd half we did well to draw in the end. We can forget the title now though.

Let’s hope though we can regroup to get 2nd. The big blow today is losing 3 players to suspension and injury. It’s gonna be very tough against :poop: next Sunday.

A 3-3 tie with 442 from the start would be better for me

Korean commentators as well, saying Ref has been bought out. Can we keep someone to track if he’s buying property and moving to a new Finca around the Madrid area?

What bothers me most of all, is the fact that we played with more intent and better overal only after Kounde was sent off… C’mon guys, where is that fire when you’re on equal terms?

You are right. Forgot the Kounde red, Espanyol could easily be 3-1 up long before the red.

The fact is we weren’t playing well enough to be winning before the kounde situation. The problem remains that we just don’t create enough chances to score more goals.

Again we remain tough to beat and keeps our unbeaten run going. However, to win more away games we have to be better offensively than we showed for most of the season.

I don’t like to just moan about the ref though. If we had been better offensively before that we could have been winning the game by then.

The ref situation is frustrating but still Kounde does need to control his temper better.

At the end the day our attack is still found wanting and we don’t do enough to create more chances or score enough goals. Refs aside we still not as good as Real Madrid in the final third where it counts.

Whenever they’re Ref arguments,
I’ve always try to swap both team and think “how would i feel about this if players swapped ?”
And 80% of the time, i won’t blame the ref (that hard). With that said, the kounde red is a yellow at most.

Think you’re being very harsh. Not saying it was the best performance but a draw at a tough place to go in Espanyol, especially with 10 men isn’t a bad result. They’ve not lost many at home this season and have got results against other big teams.

Think we need some perspective. We’re 2nd in the league still only 6 points off Real and in my opinion still in the title race and only two defeats all season, with a big gap in points over Barca and Atletico. Even if we miss out on the title 2nd is very much a possibility which in itself would be amazing. What do we want!?

Think where we were before the Lope days struggling to even get top 6 and sometimes even in mid table. We’ve come on so much since then! So much negativity on here at times which I could understand if we were struggling, but I’m sure we all would have taken where we are at the start of the season as would every team in the league other than Real!
