Muy Valiente mi Sevilla. We were better footballwise in the second half but extremely fragile defensively, somehow Sampaoli pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
Itâs still Lope ball though, the Navas Jordan Oliver triangle is null. The crosses and corners need a public enquiry. The forwards are totally useless with crosses so it makes sense to get the useless defenders up for corners.
And it still the Sharon Stone Syndrome, any way but direct, there is no ice-pick under the bed, get in there.

With our team in a sorry state, it gives me a bit of confidence we managed to at least get a point. But these are the sort of teams we should beat. I hope Sampaoli will make us play better against La Ligaâs lower half, cause sometimes it really doesnât take much. January has a very favourable schedule, and i hope we make the most of it.
It was nice to see a daring Acuña, who played a bit like his old self. Besides him, Lamela, Fernando & Bono, I need to see a different lineup. We are HURTING.

I can see us getting loads of draws in the upcoming games. We really are the draw specialists.

Second half performance merited a point. On the face of it in our situation weâll take it and only goal difference from safety. We easily could have gone on and got the win but a draw probably the fair result.
Some big games coming up. Personally I think we really should be targeting three wins out of Getafe, Cadiz and Elche at home. Girona away youâd take a draw.
Next four games should yield 10 points minimum if you ask me.

Acuña was back to his former self. Great game. What a shitty managed game by Sampaoli. Carmona should have been bench at the half. His ball watching led to the goal plus the dumb challenges. Why start both forwards?

Kike isnât as reliable defensively, so we were kinda stuck with the 2 youngsters beside Gudelj. Lucky not to concede more. We should be free from ever fielding those 3 together again, now that Nianzou and Bade should be available by the next league match.
Also, this wasnât the game to bring on Carlos. We got a Copa match coming up, so that should fare better for him. But I still donât think heâs ready cause he was kinda getting manhandled in the last one.

Drop Navas back and go back to your normal formation,or drop Fernando back and put Ortiz in the middle if you wanted to keep the same shape.
