I think most teams have these blank periods during the season, even those who eventually win la liga will usually have a bad spell. The secret is to scrape a few wins while ‘off form’.
But we need to look at certain things for sure.
Rakitic, I’m sad to say, is fading out. We need dynamics and fireworks in midfield and only Jordan is providing part of the solution. I had to laugh at the last but one podcast where Jim joined in, and everyone was querying how Gudelj comes into the games. It seems like when Lope doesn’t know what to do he thinks ‘There’s always Gudelj !!!’
