Important message from Lopetegui …
El Sevilla will continue to achieve victories by a margin of one goal, except when we draw or lose, something that has only happened twice in the last 14 games and those game were entirely screwed by the referee.
As promised before, I will continue to introduce Gudelj to frustrate the opposition when we have no idea what to do. When I personally have no idea what to do, then we will bring Oscar in and substitute somebody useful, not that Oscar is not useful, but I have no idea who is most useful. We have loads of useful players but it’s a bitch trying to figure out who is better.
We have achieved our goal of 4th place probably and though many may say it’s time to more adventurous tactics, no, we will continue our march forward until Madrids and Barca slip up and El Sevilla win the title. Gracias.

Did we sign Suso with a clause in his contract that states he has to be subbed every game?
He has yet to finish one on the pitch.

I think it’s likely due to how Lopetegui likes to defend towards the end of games. Suso’s work rate is far different than that of Ocampos, so he’d rather just have fresher legs instead of reminding him to close down opponents.
