Yes!! Massive win for us. It wasn’t pretty and a dull game but we won which is what matters the most. Soceidad losing earlier makes it a perfect day. A chance to try put even further daylight between ourselves the chasing peak if we can beat Elche at home next.
The goal by YEN was awesome and worthy to win any match. The celebrations by the players and lopetegui showed how big that win was.

It was a massive win in the scheme of things, we all know that :poop: play their best against Sevilla and at this point Sevilla were thinking of 3 points and not the local rivalry.

It was a banana skin because it was derby, they were fresher and also our confidence been hit from recent disappointments. It’s nice to bounce back but still the performance was lacking at times. Still think we need to work on being more offensive and hurt the opposition more.
Still despite everything we got the win and it’s a big confidence booster for the squad and club in general. I think lack of fans is more and more starting to show in many matches as well. It didn’t feel like a normal derby and difficult for players to get that spark or adrenaline rush to make something happen without them. Hopefully for august next season they all back.

26 games played and so far, we have 51 points. 12 points away from Atléti, 6 away from Real, and 5 away from Barça. We also have one game less than two Madrid clubs, so the difference could cut short to 9 and 3.
Atléti are on a free fall right now, and neither Real or Barça have looked convincing. We are out of every cup competitions so Lope will have to put all his eggs in La Liga basket. I am not giving up on the title chase. 12 games left, we can still do this. VAMOS!

I like the sound of that, of course all things are possible, serious things can happen to any team at any time. I can’t imagine Real Madrid winning many games without Benzema at this moment, or Barca without Messi.
