I agree we can’t repeat that midweek or we will go out the cup too. Lope needs to learn from his mistakes and the team need to step up in big games.

Papu and Ivan don’t seem to be up for a challenge on this level. Mentally retired, they might be perfect for Turkish Super League but not for La Liga, where you have to put your best performance regardless of your age.

I’m getting sick of this tactic of advancing 3/4 the way up the pitch, then make a couple of sideways passes before working the ball back to Bono and repeat.
