And a big thanks to Guido Rodriguez, one of the main sponsors.

You love to see :poop: fans leaving early!

We remain very much the kings of Seville!

Aside from the field performance, and the men differential, I would say we got about 3 good chances the whole game. leaving 0-2 here feels great.

Winning against :poop: and being just one point behind Sociedad with a game in hand makes for a great end to the weekend. We controlled the whole game and really played well together, great chemistry.

I am gaining and more and more confidence that we are deffo a title contender no doubt. Off now to go watch my nephew play basketball. Enjoy the rest of ya’lls weekends.

Vamos Mi Sevilla!

Wasn’t really in doubt. We all know, Seville is red and will always be red

An amazing win! We are in a great position! A really professional performance tonight! Vamos!!

So proud of the team to bounce back tonight after the disappointment of the Lille defeat. A very impressive, professional and dominant performance. We controlled the game. Maybe it would have been different with ten men but who cares.

One of the more comfortable derby wins we’ll see. A huge win as any derby victory is and in the context of the league. We played like a team that can win La Liga tonight!

Well done lads. All the team deserve huge credit as does Lope who masterfully orchestrated us to derby success!

I hated seeing navas get injured as he’s a club legend and great guy. Still in a way it could be a blessing in disguise because montiel looks the real deal. He’s in his prime and looked like a younger navas or dani alves tonight.

After the international break and the Alaves game, things are about to get real. With this free win behind us, saving a lot of problems that could have been.

Lope results in the derby are very impressive. Another big reason the sevilla fans, monchi and castro are very happy with him.

I just hope we beat Alaves then we did our job in the games we should win or not lose bar Granada. We may have a chance to hit the top of the table before Real Madrid match. Our goal difference just 1 behind Real too. Therefore if we can score a few past alaves it could help too,

Even with the hard games to come I fancy us to make life difficult for them all. We won’t be easy for Real Madrid albeit los blancos are the slight favourites. As one thing we do well under lopetegui is never get hammered and we hang in most matches even if we lose in the end.

Looking at the table makes for lovely viewing!

27 points from 12 games and joint second place a point behind top who we have a game in hand on! And we’re 10 points clear of Barca!

Have we ever made a better start to the season after 12 games points wise?

Concrete performance by Sevilla. It says that consolidation of our place among the leaders is no accident.

Players go out again to salute the Sevilla fans who are locked in for a while.

:poop: were disappointing for me, worse than I thought. I hope they disappear now, I never feel comfortable until we’re 12 points ahead of them.

The only other time I think we may have made a better start was 2006/2007 season when we nearly won la liga. I think we may have had 28 points in that season. Except that I don’t think we made a better start. Sensational from us.

It’s a shame about our champions league disappointments but we more than made up for it in la liga. Funny enough we still have a chance to qualify in champions league. If we win our last 2 matches then we will qualify.

Like I said before regarding our group I want us either to get top 2 but if we can’t I’d rather us be 4th than 3rd do we can concentrate on la liga and copa del Rey. We will see what happens against Wolfsburg though.

Not so fast. We’ll be quick to criticize him again when he gets another drab draw/loss.

Overall though we have to be satisfied. I agree there are times we right to demand a bit more but overall his win record is very impressive

Still let’s see what happens going forward. Looking at that table though makes great viewing so far.

Away match, +2 added to goal differential and kept clean sheet. Strictly business.

Red card helped a lot, or else we wouldn’t have gotten behind them as often as we did. Still a lot of work to do. But hope we get players like Papu back fully fit, cause we need his kind of quality to pull strings for us.

I can see us being very difficult for many teams to face. We may struggle to win the games against the best sides but at same time they won’t like facing us either. For example the game with real Madrid could easily end 0-0. We will see though.

I notice a bit of a gap is forming between us and :poop: in 5th, now six points. The top 4 has created a bit of distance from the other teams.

Feeling very happy going into the international break and the Lille game is forgiven.

Bring on Alaves in two weeks time. Goodnight everyone!

Great to see the players out celebrating with the fans.

Not seen us boss a game like that for a long time. I thought :poop: were looking tired even before going down to 10 men, maybe their defeat on Thursday plus the travel involved got to them?
We were certainly more up for this game than they were, I agree with the Montiel comments, he was very impressive as was Rakitic, he was close to the player of old.
