A great first half by us! Great intensity shown and great attacking purpose. The Sevilla fans were incredible too. Shame about their goal but bar that a very impressive first half. Oliver Torres had a blinder of a half. A great performance all round. Mir and Carlos were clutch for their goals too.
Let’s keep it up and go top of the table where we belong! Vamos!

To be fair at home I feel we have played well in all the games so far. Except Salzburg first half we have been good overall and very impressive at times. It’s away from home we need to improve going forward and be a bit braver.

Exactly! - and not only against Levante, we could play like this against most of the teams other than the ones that are better than us on paper.
This is quite similar to the strategy that was used against Valencia and I really hope it’s not a one-off which then reverts back to the old dull and boring play.
Also this is what happens when you play a creative midfielder like Oliver in the right position, also what happens when you don’t clog the midfield with Rakitic and Jordan there - they are subs at best.
We conceded an unnecessary goal as they had nothing on us, but it’s Morales… he can score from anywhere and in any style, even at 34 years old.
Other than that, it’s the best display since the Valencia match and it’s the same 3-1 result at HT. We can now slowly kill the game off and play more conservative in the second, but I wouldn’t mind if we’d score 1 or 2 more to finish it off in style in front of our amazing fans.

That was a great first half performance with some fantastic goals, especially from Oliver! Levante’s goal was a decent one to be fair so not a lot we could have done.
Generally at home I think we’ve been very strong. Hopefully we can push on and get a few more goals in the second half.

It’s all about the formation and tactics. Play with the same formation and approach away, you’d get a similar result, especially against the likes of Levante. Had we played with the same old conservative style today, it would be 0-0 or 0-1 for Levante at HT.

Jordan has the most keypasses per minute besides Acuna and Navas… I wouldn’t call him a sub at best
He’s a good player, just not productive enough for us and not the creative midfielder that we need. Oscar and Oliver are much better in that regard and they should get the start over him. We’re fine on defensive duties with Delaney and Fernando. This shows that we desperately need a box-to-box midfielder like Tchouameni who we’re linked with in January.

I agree and I’m glad lope is learning that at home now at least. Now he just needs to apply it away a bit more and not go to defensive with the 3 DMs and we can get even better and get more goals and points.
To be fair at Lille I feel we did go for it more as he started Oliver there too and it was better albeit not enough to win on the night. I hope he’s realising he doesn’t need all 3 of Fernando, rakitic and Jordan together but time will tell. Overall we going great and let’s keep this and go top!
