We have so much quality in this squad. To think we doing this with a few key players out and we have the new signings to come in too. It’s really exciting times ahead. This squad can do epic things this season.

Lamela is man of the match, but Papu makes the difference in the game, when he came in things started moving forward.

This was really fun. Great passing and ball movement. Good job winning the ball back and flipping right into a counter. Of course an early red helped, but what a dumb play by Zidane.
Idrissi looked good, but also made some foolish plays that could’ve cost us some cards/advantage. Lamela was sublime. Lets hope he stays motivated.

Great start to the season. Yes, Sevilla played 75 minutes plus added time against 10 men but so often 10 men in away team make it very difficult for the better team to really take advantage, as we have seen here too before Lamela and Papu came on.
Lamela was probably my favourite player at Spurs, and was rather underrated and not properly appreciated by many there and in England. He is always fully committed on the pitch and offers the rare mix of attacking and defensive effectiveness with creative ability and tenacity. He was held back at Spurs by the team playing predominantly to create chances for Kane and Son, as well as injuries and conservative system from Mourinho.
It seems he has more freedom and new lease of life at Sevilla and it was great to see his qualities capped by the crucial two goals that came in very important times too.

Welcome @Erik_17 ! I hope your boy Coco keeps bringing that same attitude to games, because it was rubbing off on the players around him. A common criticism I hear is that he tends to hold on to the ball too long. He was well behaved today i guess, as we didn’t see any of that. 
So many good things about this game that it’s easy to forget Oscar playing the full 90 min. It isn’t taking long for him to influence the game neither. We don’t often play our best with 3ATB. It undoes everything Lope has tried to create so not much gets generated. We’ll see in the coming games what still needs improvement. But with a proper XI out there, it will be scary for a lot teams in LaLiga. This can be a really special season.

I’m sad I sold Dimitrovic in fantasy, I thought Bono was the clear #1, I understand he’s sick but this performance spells GK controversy

Nah I’d still say Bono is our undisputed nr. 1 goalie so far. It’s great to have healthy tough competition as it only benefits us, but Bono is Bono. I wouldn’t mind Dmitrovic featuring in matches now and then though, he is quite decent.

Dude I woke up this morning and the first thought was that we hardly mentioned Oscar in the podcast. He was outstanding yesterday and it was very encouraging to see him go the full 90.
