What the heck - Felix skies it after being wide open on a really sound counter attack. Might have been offside, but it was well worked, but a terrible effort to finish.
Playing too much over our midfield instead of through. Levante are playing compact, but we need to find Agoumé and Fofana to create some space for Felix and Sierra.
It is so refreshing to see a player being able to keep up with the pace and hustle opponents off the ball. Fofana illustrating that Fernando left a huge gap in there.
Impressed with the defensive work, and that attitude is what earned us that goal. We dealt with Levante’s pressure pretty well, and ended the half strong. Glad we looked more for Robbie on those lasts few plays. I think we’ll find more openings with chances to counter in the 2nd half, and hopefully get a 2-goal cushion.
Decent away performance so far. Thought we largely controlled the first half and rode out Levante’s little spell relatively comfortably. Pleased for Robbie that he’s got his first goal which came from our tight pressing forcing a mistake out of Levante.
I feel as long as we can stay solid and ride out Levante pressure, there is another goal or two for us on the counter in the second half.
