With Mallorca winning against Rayo it looks to be status quo regarding two points to relegation. It has made our three points even more important, but it definitely would have been nice with some more space.

The problem we got is elche got Atleti at home next. If they get through they probably rest players against them too. Then they got oviedo away.
Alaves got real away and Mallorca at home. We have to get a win at levante.
Teams at bottom this season are much better so we might need 42/43 points to survive.

I didn’t realize that Iborra was an assistant on Levante. I really liked him as a player and captain. He will be an excellent manager someday if he can get the players to mold to his level of commitment.
Levante are in decent form too. We in a real scrap folks. We have to keep getting points because we can’t rely on teams around us losing as much.
The levante game worries me. We will play no team with their reserves out again this season. We have to step up now!

With the lone exception possibly RM who may likely have accepted their fate by the time we play them. But RM has a B team which is probably as strong as Atlético’s A team on most days. So yeah. We will need to fight to the finish. This drama ain’t over.
