How would Getafe making Europa League be surreal? They’ve qualified a few times and the last time under Bordalas they knocked out Ajax on the way to the last 16.

The bigger game is Alaves. If they win we really screwed! We need teams above us to lose more than levante and time running out. We also need to turn up. I feel Monday night is our last chance to try save ourselves. If we lose or even draw that probably it.

Levante not only lose 5-1 but lost 2 key players to injury. I feel despite their revival they will still get relegated and bad day for them.
We really have to pray Athletic Club can do something in Basque derby. I’m not to hopeful considering how it been going for us lately.

Sí se puede! Still not far off a 50/50 for us to stay up. Ok, not that close to 50/50, but 40% likelihood for salvation isn’t that crazy to believe. If you think back to Quarterfinals of Europa League back in 2023, what would you say our likelihood of lifting the trophy

Finally a result goes our way.
The next two home games are HUGE and are both winnable.
Sociedad don’t have that much to play for with a European spot secured with their cup win. Espanyol have been possibly the only team worse than us this year.

Copa Del Rey winners = automatic Europa League group stage qualification (even if they end up relegated).

We have to push on! The worry is alaves run in isn’t the worst. They got struggling Elche next. Barca at home who might have won league by then. Then bottom club Oviedo and then a Rayo side potentially with a conference final 3 days later with not much to play for in league. Rayo now safe after winning today. I still fear that alaves will get more points.
We just have to win tomorrow to get above alaves and drag other teams in it.
