Thank God. :folded_hands:t3:

Would probably go on my list of all time dud Sevilla signings…

GK: Sirigu

RB: Corchia

CB: Gnagnon

CB: Sergi Gomez

LB: Carole

RM: Januzaj

CM: Roque Mesa

CM: Amadou

LM: Rony Lopes

CF : Llorente (who I rated generally but terrible for us)

CF: Dabbur (probably one of our weirder signings ever)

I still think we need 1 extra point out of our last 2 games to stay up..

Nianzou was a terrible signing in all regards: high transfer fee for an unproven player, instant injuries and whenever he did play he made too many mistakes. But speaking of duds you could definitely add Gattoni because well, I saw him somewhere Sevilla related and I was actually kind of confused he was still part of the team.

Sergi Gómez in my memory always was a decent player, nothing special. Only a 5,5M pricetag. So in my experience not a dud.

Excellent list, a lot of deep cuts there. In both senses…fun memories I had forgotten, and painfully bad memories of players that didn’t shake out. Dabbur, goodness. Corchia, wow. Carole! Jeepers!

I would agree that Sergi Gómez is probably the MVP of that list.

My Feelings say, that we are going down with Girona and Oviedo.

I hope not.

Yes 1 point more guarantees safety because then:

  1. Oviedo are already too far behind.
  2. Levante and Mallorca are on 39 points and play each other. So at least 1 will finish on 43 points or less.
  3. Girona are on 40 points and Elche on 39 and they play each other. The same. One of them will finish on 43 or less.

If Sevilla lose both the last games there are unlikely combos of results that lead to Segunda.

No breaks.

This is a deeply paranoid take. Does not line up with the math of us only needing two of the five teams beneath us (excluding Oviedo) to get less than four points of remaining six.

Sure, another point and we breathe easier, but I’d bet a lot of money that 43 points stay in primera when season ends.

No Romero. I’m fine with that. Akor earned his spot back. Don’t especially rate maupay, but Romero not clearly better form than him either.

Mbappe may also feel like he has something to prove
