I’m seeing more and more Spanish people saying we are going to try pay clubs off to keep us up. Even media or some Spanish journalists saying it.
I honestly think it wrong to rely on that but we desperate. I don’t believe it though. I think they referring to games like Villarreal and Real Madrid at end of season where they got less to play for.
Osssuna aren’t safe fully yet so I don’t expect them on the beach today or any favours.
We got to fight and try pull something off today. Vamos!
Scrap that about Real Madrid helping us. Apparently a :poop: fan reminded me that Del Nido Junior filed a complaint against Real Madrid not long ago. I wouldn’t rely on that match then! lol
Other clubs will do the same too, if opportunity allows.
I don’t think the teams that we’ll face until the end of the season will be lenient with us. No more Atletico C team miracles. The only hope is if an opponent has nothing to fight for and will play it more like a friendly. From all what’s left, I can see only Villarreal and RM not having to fight for anything the moment we face them. But they will still put on a performance.
So it still depends on our players and only on them 100%. They have to fight hard to be able to stay up.
Today’s match will tell a lot whether the team has given up or is still up for a fight. This will be a make or break game.
Elche are winning at Oviedo, this will put them on 35 points and send Sevilla into the relegation zone, even if Sevilla draw Osasuna the goal difference is too much. So the only way to drag themselves out of this hole is to win, no excuses.
A win will put Sevilla on 37 points, replacing Alaves for 15th in the table. If there ever is a game to show up, this is it.
Elche is on 38 points if they win. They already above us but would go 4 clear which is depressing. Mallorca are on 35 and Alaves 36. If we draw we still in bottom 3 due to worse head to head with Mallorca.
You right we have to win but if I’m honest I’d take a draw because more likely we lose again. Not got much hope.
Let’s see if his team surprises against all odds again when we finally think we done.
No pace, no threats, can’t press properly, can’t hold the ball, can’t even pass properly, and yet refuse to start Ejuke or Januzaj
Our players are really that bad?
One thing I’m happy about is how solid we look. Yeah we not created anything but least we tough to beat.
We did okay that first half. However, we just need to up it a bit more in 2nd half. We need better cohesion in the attack. We aren’t hurting them. A chance to get something today though if we remain solid.
We need to get something today but still very nervous watching us.
