Mate, there is an entire thread on this topic and there are a shipload of contenders.

I haven’t seen my Peña this dead ever. Kind of sad and it portends our trajectory.

Feel sorry for LGP, having to do with players like Nianzou in his debut. Totally ruined the vibe of the game and let the team down, again and again.

A lesson for LGP if he wants to do anything with this team until the end and hope for a miracle staying up - never ever field the low IQ pole. Cardoso… or even fucking Gudelj at CB is still better.

Very hard for the new coach to do anything with this pathetic bunch, but hope dies last.

Just not good enough. We got what we deserved. Nothing.

Relegation really is now staring us in the face.

What a fucking shame to see my club in this way. Replace a manager only to get worse. Zero shots on goal.

This is where we don’t have our get out of jail card anymore. If we had Lukebakio we don’t lose this even with 10 men. We have no one that can make a difference out of nothing like he did.

Worrying times guys!

I don’t even know what to say anymore.

How are you feeling Chris? You think we just survive or is this the season we fear and go under? I’m running out of hope. Sad times indeed!

It getting that bad I just want the season to end we just out the relegation places. I don’t think our hearts and nerves can take the rest of this season.

I look at our remaining games and it looks so bleak right now.

I look at the remaining games and it’s only Levante away and Espanyol at home I could see us maybe getting something from.

I don’t look at any other match and give us much of a hope.

Agreed mate. We have to rely on the team in the relegation zone to remain terrible and not catch us.

I’m not optimistic as last season we had the points on the board before we imploded. We have no cushion of points.

If we repeat last season finish or close to it we doomed. We need some divine inspiration to save us.

Last season bade and lukebakio both kept us up. I’m not sure who will this time.

I don’t think there is enough winnable games to stay up.

That’s my fear too. We going to have to pull a couple of rabbit out hats and shock results. Either that or pray the teams below us remain shit to keep us afloat.

Castro and Co. would pat themselves on the back if Sevilla do stay up and go for the same approach next season by signing half-hearted dross while plunging the club further into debt. If something major has to happen to get rid of them then let it happen, better than this purgatory.

Sell the team to someone with money, and love for the club

As much as financially it would probably be a bad thing, I think we actually need a season or two down in Segunda to try and reset and take stock a little bit. Ship out all the shit, and big contracts still on board, and start a fresh, build the team up and more importantly the club with a fresh impetus.

Whatever happens at the end of the season we cannot keep getting away with a squad that doesn’t appear to be able to compete in this league along with constant sacking the manager. Something has to give or change.. A reset isn’t the end of the world if we go down..

We can reset and still be in Primera. I think the financial setback in our already dire situation will be as much a handicap in segunda as it is in Primera and the thought of a reset is in my opinion only viable if we end up going back up pretty fast. Otherwise I see us ending up as other big teams struggling to find their way back and end up in the lower tiers for a longer period of time.

I personally fear if we go down it could cripple us further. We seen other big historic clubs who went down and who financially hit rock bottom not comeback or take ages to return.

I’m not sure whether if we go down or not will get rid of this board either. We all hope for change but the only group now interested is Sergio Ramos group. We don’t know how serious they are though or if they pay enough to buy out current board or want to take this club on to clear the mounting debt.

It a really awful situation. This club had so many amazing times and we will never forget those memories but seems so far away right now.

I can see both sides of the argument re going down to the Segunda.

Of course we should absolutely aim to stay up and I do fear the financial impact of relegation and whether it could like other big teams cripple us even more and we slide further.

However, maybe we would benefit from relegation and a chance to reset both on and off the pitch and come back stronger.

But yeah let’s aim to stay up first and try and sort the off-field issues before we think about anything else. I know one thing that is certain though regardless of if we go down or not and this club needs to change as it can’t continue like this.
