Any result here would be fantastic… Can we do it? No idea. I can absolutely imagine us showing up and pulling a Barcelona-esque performance out of nowhere. But I can even more easily imagine us conceding within the first 5 minutes and getting blown out. Anything imbetween seems highly plausible as well. Anyone paying attention to this season is probably putting greater likelihood on the bad outcome side of the spectrum but… this is why they play the games.
I have no clue either. Hoping we can channel some of our frustrations over to :poop:. Keep them from scoring an early goal and maybe just run the Clock for a bit. They have some hot-headed guys and the worst thing we can do is playing in a tempo we can’t even compete in.
And for the love of all that is holy: no red cards!
So far the results in this round are ok. No matter what happens we will still have some space to the relegation spots. Maybe that will ease the tensions a bit.
Apparently Maupay has picked up an injury, so the logic behind Adams alone up top is probably something along the lines of us kinda waiting and running down the clock and maybe going for a 0-0. And if Things turn sour we have Isaac to bring on instead of him starting and us having no options of giving the attack some new energy.
Really disappointed that Isaac didnt get a start now that Maupay is injured. Has he done something to Almeyda? He seemed to like him a lot and now he gets completely ignored. Not fair, since other players havent even played better.
Alexis hasnt played a good game for a long time and I would prefer us playing a two man striker instead of 1..
We are too scared to play for the win. These games have their own lives and right now we have just given everything to :poop:.
I like Almeyda and his passion. He seems like someone that players would die for, but I really question how he sets this team up. He seems to always be satisifed for 0-0 or a lucky punch for 1-0. Why not go full aggressive and attack this :poop: team that has shown it Can be shaken. We have better players than what we see right now and the Alexis behind Akor Experiment has been bad so far
