Almeyda’s appeals have all been unsuccessful so far. The team keeps trying legal action, but so far no luck. Here is how the suspension breaks down according to the rules:
“2 match suspensions for protesting to the referee (Article: 127); 1 match suspension for not going to the dressing room after being sent off (Article: 121.3); 3 match suspensions for repeated attitudes of contempt or disrespect towards the referees (Article: 124) and 1 match suspension for conduct contrary to good sporting order (Article: 129); all of them with their corresponding accessory fines provided for in article 52”
Busquets Ferrer is the ref tomorrow. Hasn’t reffed a Sevilla match in 2025/2026. Historically he is 3 wins, 3 loses.
Januzaj is back while Juanlu and Jordan are missing due to suspension.
One note that I read is Marcão is officially done for the season because he wasn’t registered for the second half of the season. Maupay was able to be registered because of the sacrifice of Marcao.
This another big game for us. It will be a grind and could be a cagey affair. We did okay at getafe last few years. We need to get at least a point here. Vamos Sevilla!
Not a very promising lineup. That midfield wont give you any creativity or goals. Azpi as wingback is way off. He was good as a wingback earlier in his career, but now he seems much more like a CB.
and I know Isaac hasnt been at his best lately, but keeping him on the bench when Adams has done nothing but running offside since his 2 goals and Maupay done nothing since his debut seems very harsh.
Anyway, lets hope the boys get at least 1 point today!
I’d like to see us try the 4-4-2 from last week, but it’s much harder without a wideman like Juanlu on the right. Perhaps Sow fills in there, or we’ve gone back to the 5-3-2. I hope we stay in the game long enough for our subs Ejuke & Alexis to add some spark, cause yeah, that lineup isn’t too inspiring. 
Well, it looks kinda obvious that Getafe are catching on to our frustrations regarding the refs and trying to wind us up, cause what the hell are they doing here with those fake injuries already..?
Oh the irony that Getafe now gets a men sent off. Reckless tackle that could easily have broken Suazos ancle.

The Bordalas-way of playing football is just hard to watch. This will be an insufferable game (more than it already is) to watch if we go behind.
There is no excuse not to win the game today. Getafe Down to 10 men and playing abysmal football. We gotta take advantage. 1 point would feel like a loss now. In our position, nothing less than a win works.
