The first Girona-handball I couldn’t see on the images shown on the replay, but the still-images now appearing just shows the obvious: a clear handball and an absolute disgrace we didn’t get a penalty. Was there even a VAR-check?
The second one is a handball, but I think it falls under the category of ‘being kicked onto your hand/arm by yourself’ and I think those situations are specifically not regarded as a penalty.
I totally get that they do it. Why should they hide it? Its an absolute disgrace and you just know if it was the other Way around, they would have given the pen against Sevilla.
The first one is 100% a handball. I have seen less being given. Sevilla almost get a pen against them every game, but almost never get anything when its us who deserve it. Its a disgrace and it needs to be spoken about.
Almeyda calling for unity amongst the team and the fans. He’s addressing the toxic atmosphere in the RSP and calling for the fans to get behind the team. Essentially: ‘We are going to make mistakes, but we need your support even despite those mistakes.’ Thankfully Biris responding positively and calling for unity in the next home game.
I gotta say I like the balls on Almeyda. A comment like this could have turned the whole fanbase against him, but there’s just no bullshit about him. I really hope he manages to turn this ship around.
