We didn’t do shit and the fact it was a centerback with a wonderstrike that was going to save us just tells it all. We are abysmal.

A huge point that feels like a win.
A much better second half gives us a deserved draw. Salas with an absolute screamer and heroics from Vlacho our MOTM at the end.
Could prove to be a massively valuable result come the end of the season.

We are. Its a mix of the players and a coach who right now is out of his depth. Players showed more in the second half though, so credit to them and Almeyda for trying, but its still not good enough. Quality is one thing, desire should be there every single time.
A point is a point, but this will cost us sooner than later.

We will have to take what we can get, but everyone needs to take a close look in the mirror. Before it is too late. Right now Levante and Oviedo are looking to be trailing too much, but the Last relegation spot is at the moment ours based on play and form.

Better 2nd half, but no final ball. It was the kinda play you start with and try to improve upon, but at least they showed something.
I was thinking of Salas being the hero, but only thru one of his very timely headers. Bad giveaway from Girona, but to finish like that?! Insane.
And Vlacho saving that penalty possibly saved us more than just that 1 point. Clutch.

The Alexis sub actually made things worse as we didnt have anyone in the box after that. Dont wanna see that again. And it looked like we changed a bit in how we played after the triple sub at HT. Ejuke having a massive impact should give him a starting place next game. Juanlu also positive.
Massive point that considering we were dominated for large parts of game. Well done Salas! Vamos!
Our goalkeeper is working miracles for us! We owe a lot to him. He carrying us currently.

Alexis needs to take notes from CR7 and stay in the box, he doesn’t contribute enough on the edge of the box trying to play cute passes.

So Banega, anyone? If I see one more midfielder twist and turn way too much even after getting rid of his direct opponent I might just go insane. Do it once and then play the ball. Especially Mendy. Someone remind him what happened against :poop:.
Banega was a master in that discipline but at least he ended up finding a decent pass afterwards and not just suck every flow out of the attack.
We looked a lot better once Oso & Ejuke came on.
So we are robbed of a clear pen for handball (Note no VAR check) Then when Vlacho saves their pen we go directly to VAR to look for any excuse to get it retaken.
Guess who was on VAR duty? Yep the same ref we had last week, who was so quick to award Mallorca a very dodgy pen.
