A big win, maybe not as important as the next one though. As with the Barca game, thiss could be yet another false start, so hopefully this win feeds into their self belief. As Almeyda has said, it’s about mentality, something that has really let the team down in the past. There’s a 7 point gap between Sevilla and B*tis in 6th. There’s still a lot of hard work to be done over the remainder of the season, especially as there’s only 5 points between Sevilla and Alaves.
Peque & Vlachodimos were great (again) today, the rest of the team played well and looked better than they have done in a while. Here’s hoping that this is the start of better things on the pitch at least..

Massive win for us last night. The team showed great spirit to come from a goal behind and get that result rather like with the Elche game. We took advantage of a below par Athletic side struggling with the demands of Champions League football. Incredibly that takes us level on points with them!
Four points from two games makes it a very good week for us and five points clear and some daylight on the bottom three.

Lots of great performances yesterday. I had Juanlu as MOTM. Not sure what the TV showed.
Wow, WHAT A WIN! Havent had time to Watch it back until now and I must say, the boys gave absolutely everything! It wasnt pretty all the time, but this is was the effort we all wanted to see.
Fantastic game from several players, especially Kike Salas and Carmona. Agoume is a beast. Romero really fought hard also.
So happy and hope this can give a spark to the team!
