Any idea why Agoumé is on the bench? Surprised to see Sow over Agoumé. Sow has seemed much less reliable, albeit a tactically different positioning than Agoumé

I think tat’s true so far. They seem to be looking to move the ball about to try and get a runner free on either flank. The long ball from Marcao seems to be a feature of play so far

I think cause he recovered recently from injury. Didn’t start the season too hot either, kinda in Mendy’s shadow.

Yeah I think Mendy also offers more of a physical & dynamic presence in midfield, which is useful in a game like this
