What a result. Finally, we’ve won at home. Finally, we’ve beaten Barcelona. This is absolutely massive, everyone was solid today. Vlachodimos for me was outstanding. Reminiscent of Bono.

We have to beat RM this season too :folded_hands:t4:

Lewandowski scores that penalty the potential was there for us to lose this game 2-4 or 2-5. Instead it gave us the impetus to hold firm and hit these fuckers on the break. Let’s enjoy the moment, it has been a long old while since we’ve taken it to the Madrid’s and Barcelona’s of this World and taken three points.

Woww!! It feels like we stepped into a parallel universe. Cordon and Almeyda are literally miracle workers. Insane win! 4-1 against Barca! My days! Haha

That’s the kind of sliding doors moment that has gone against us for so long.

When you’re up (especially at home with a noisy crowd) you might get the rub of the green (same with Peque’s foul). It’s been a long time since we’ve had these lucky outcomes, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts.

The psychology Almeyda has worked on the team really seems to be doing a lot to lift the dark clouds that have been hanging over the team for so long.

Had to watch second half on delay… wow! What a showing. The two goals at the end padded what was very tight and nervy until then.

was very impressed with our ability to beat the press and counter. Finishing spotty.

Odysseus, clear man of the match

Absolutely Tremendous!! We haven’t seen anything like this for a while.. Great for the new Manager and the Players confidence. A super day at the RSP to get the fans buzzing again, and us here on MM… Vamos!!!

If that was your 1st time what a game to pick

Almeyda seems to be a really flexible & good coach, unlike those stubborn coach that only believe in one formation & one tactics like Amorim & Lope just to name a few

Just to put this win in perspective, this was only our second home win of 2025, our biggest win since we beat Valladolid 4 - 0 away in February & it’s also our biggest home win since we beat Granada 3 - 0 in May 2024.
