Nice pass through from Vargas and Isaac with a good finish to make up for his previous miss.
We think we have problems and we do. But Girona defensively are a shambles. They look like relegation candidates.
Please can Vargas stay as he’s very good.
Away from home we are a better team without the pressure of all the fans and the counter attacking style works better for us.

Massive away win for us and deserved. Much needed going into the international break. Some great counter attacking play and well taken goals.
Not sure how Girona didn’t score but Nyland in goal was superb and Salas at the back was a rock also. Suazo looked good on debut as did Alfon and Vargas played well.
Hopefully none of the injuries are too major and with Azplicueta coming in and hopefully a few more new signings, we will be stronger.

Girona seem to be the ideal candidates for relegation. Unlucky, poor in overall… especially defense, and many unproductive washed up players.
Suazo and Alfon had a great impact in the team. Glad that Isaac scored, though he should’ve scored the 100% chance in the first half too. But hopefully he gets some confidence and momentum from this.

Only caught part of the 2nd half, but this win should do a world of good for team morale. i saw Nyland save shots i could’ve seen him concede just last week. And Isaac’s goal was a chance he found ways to miss last season.
I will try to rewatch in full asap. It’s impressive we secured the win with damn near the same cantera defence we started the season with. Prolly says alot about Girona.
Looking forward to these last few moves in the window, where the int’l break can give time to bed any new players in.
I thought the ref was excellent in this match. Just something that is rare.
