I been really impressed with our counter attacking football tonight. Girona are poor at back but we cut through them well.

We should be 2 or 3 nil up. Isaac really should have scored. Been a much better half and only disappointment is we not further ahead.

Been impressed with the new players. Alfon and Suazo looked good. We deserve the lead and could be leading more. Let’s keep it up. Vamos!

I dont know whether it was on purpose, but it seemed like we gave more of the initiative to Girona and decided to drop further back and then hit them on the counter. In my opinion it seemed like a good call, 'cause that high pressure looked all over the place. Except for that one time where Isaac should have scored.

Thought our counter attacking play was excellent in that first half. Alfon and Vargas look great. Nice finish from Alfon on his debut. The caveat is Girona’s defending is truly shambolic.

We also should be 2 or 3 up. Isaac’s miss was a bad one with the whole goal at his mercy. A player lacking in confidence. I hope it doesn’t come back to haunt us. Much better though.

Got to win tonight as these are poor. They’re okay going forward and did create a few chances but defensively all over the place.

For sure and he got his tactics right in that first half. Girona fell into the trap and we hit them hard on the break. Hopefully we can keep this up and get a big 3 points!
