La Real normally come out of the starting gates on fire. This year with a new manager, hasn’t been like the ones prior. Before Carlos Soler’s goal in the 89th minute to tie Celta Vigo, they found themselves in 20th place. The draw sent them up to 18th.
I’ve been really surprised that the new boss has lasted this long and maybe a loss against us will be his last with La Real?
Hopefully we can sort out our defense and get back to our winning ways.
I do appreciate they haven’t changed their manager before the game against us. We don’t want a Real Sociedad with a bunch of players desperate to prove themselves to a new boss.
In other news it looks like Mendy is injured. If both he and Dave are out we might already see our vulnerability. Almeyda will have to be creative here and the next guys will need to step up.
Should hopefully get back to winning ways here. I feel we more suited to playing away and on counter too. Vamos mi Sevilla!
Flexible in the sense that Gudelj can fallback into defence and give us 3 CBs, but this should be another 4-2-3-1. We’ll see how well Cardoso fits in this setup. And i like seeing Alexis back, cause he seems to always give us that extra energy. That Chilean left side always gives me hope!
