La Liga 24/25 - Sevilla FC at Mallorca

Saúl sent off for saying something to the referee

Wow. I was going to say, the ref was having a good game and then…

García Pimienta is now on a 17 game winless streak.

The slight optimism from the first match is gradually fading.

I know we can’t expect much from this team, but to settle for draws against Las Palmas and Mallorca. The whole team looking tired from the 50th minute.

GP is clueless and doesn’t know what plan b tactics to apply. Counter-attack is still inexistent. Attacking players ineffective, so much that Iheanacho has not even had a linkup up for 62 mins.

Saul gets a red card just for the sake of it - signaling lack of discipline.

Not good… Not good at all.

Fall down now, play injured, see these seconds out.

Will take a draw. A fair result overall.

Poor performance and game.

Happy to escape with a draw.

Two points from three games. Another bad start to the season.

Hard fought draw against Mallorca. Deserved to lose realistically.

Wow… The state this team is in is totally pathetic.

From what seemed as a promising transfer window, turns out to be a disastrous one because we still have problems in midfield, problems up front and most importantly, major problems in defense and between the posts.

The lack of a proper CB pair with Bade is going to cost us. Same as the lack of a proper LB replacement for Acuna.

Same as the lack or a proper GK replacement for Bono.

We are a work in progress but I see positives. We are competing in most games but just need that bit more quality and composure in both boxes.

I agree but he’s really got very little to work with. I doubt he’s in charge come January.

What’s going to happen now is that the SFC financial accounts will start to leak out and we’ll get an idea of what’s in store.

Saul doing the ‘old man, not interested in football anymore’ trick. Gets an absolutely stupid red, leaves the team in a critical condition with a few more mins to go.

100% planned so he can get an extended vacation not having to play in the weekend and come back only after the NT break (or more if it’s 2 matches).

Do you get the sense this 2024 shareholders meeting in December will be one of the biggest in the clubs history for a while? It seems a lot could happen then and something has to give or change.

I thought we played pretty decent in the first half. I thought we were missing the grit and fight that Issac and Ocampos bring to the game. Two games in a row that the Juanlu experiment doesn’t seem to be working. I think I would rather see Peque there, a proven goalscorer.

Yes Chris i also want to see Peque.

Please Navas from the beginning…one flank in the second Half showed why, that was dangerous for the defense.
When he is tired, then out

I hope for the guy with red hair, Pedrosa is so weak in the defense

I saw now a video from the changing room after the game…Pedrosa shout something like:" yeah, at the top from the loosers"

My Answer…“mabye work better at your defense skills”

Very stale performance, and didn’t even press well. Hardly did much when Mallorca dropped back early in the 2nd half. Sow again not capitalizing on a cutback. Outside of that it’s like he’s half-asleep.

All i got from that is Isaac should be the starting striker. At least he has some sort of presence up top.

I think it could be the most important in Sevilla history but I can’t really form an opinion without knowing the financial situation. I do think we should have splashed out in the transfer market and borrowed the money because it will be a lot cheaper than the alternative.

Just had thoughts from the last Europa League Win.

Now, we can’t register a new player.

Wake up SFC!
