Seems to be the same old problem up front. Not enough players in the opponentās box when weāre attacking. I saw Villarrealās goals last night vs Celta and in most of the 4, their attacking players were all over Celtaās box.
We are trying to create danger with minimal troops up front - not good.
We need more players in their box and get engaged in the buildup in order to create something and eventually score.

The defense is really shaky, a slightly better team would score against us.
Gudelj, Carmona and Pedrosa are not Sevilla material. I can cut Carmona and Pedrosa some slack, but Gudelj lacks basic positioning and composition skills. Just compare the one who left, Acuna, to the one who stayed, Pedrosa. Uncomparable.
Anyway, not a terribly bad first half. We have to remember Mallorca got a draw out of RM and are solid in defense.
We have been trying more up front towards the end of the first half, more grind, more players in the boxā¦ But itās not enough if we want to get something out of this.
Eventually our defense will crack in the second half, so we need to crack theirs sooner.

Wasnāt exactly the most captivating of halves but I felt we were the better team and created the clearer chances. Ejuke a constant threat and our most likely outlet for a goal. Mallorca offered very little. Hoping we can nick a goal in the second half.
