Marcao had nasal surgery today and will miss the Alavés game. Should be back next week though.

Let’s hope the team can build on the last win. I thought there was positive signs in last match. Alaves are a solid side though and started well. It will be close battle. Vamos Sevilla!

Alaves beat us twice last season I think and have started okay so we will have to be at our best if we want to come away with a result from this one.

Vamos!

To be clear…they lost to two relegation-zone regulars. So while I agree with the premise that beating Sociedad and Las Palmas and drawing with :poop: isn’t a terrible start for them, I do think this is still a supremely winnable game. A partido-trampa, as they say, maybe. But we should absolutely be better than Alaves.

As a reminder, this is the club where a 2024 Joan Jordán was an improvement to their squad.

Who wears the armband in this? Nyland? Saúl?

A straight 4-3-3 it appears with Peque playing wing.

Weird that Bade isn’t getting the start, but Nianzou played well last time out so maybe trying to keep that confidence growing?

Let’s hope for the best. Hopefully we can do better against these this season. Vamos!

But are we better than Alaves? They finished above us last season I think.

Gone are the days when we expect to win against anyone.

Hoping we get the three points tonight!

What Jordan ball out and score a goal against us.

Oh great, the ref is already looking to pull from the pocket. Might be a long game.

Lots of slipping and heavy touches so far.
