Lukebakio leading the line today in a welcome change. There’s also a start for another cantera player in Hormigo, who will likely double up on the left with Pedrosa. And with Juanlu on the other flank with Carmona, I think I’m gonna like this double-fullback, Bordalas-like setup.
Osasuna is always a difficult place to play. In terms of scale, probably somewhere between San Mames & Medizorrotza. The point earned last weekend alleviated some worries, but we’re not out of the woods yet. We generally perform better away from home this season, so why not get JC his first win in this new stint?
Hormigo has been standing out the last few matches at SAT. I’d like to have seen Luke with Issac or Peque in a 4-4-2, but we may never see the classic Sevilla formation again.
We are not out of the woods @Edinho and as you say Osasuna has been a curse on Sevilla, but they haven’t got much to play for and Sevilla have. I expect that Caparrós has more tricks in the way we play, I certainly hope so. The lineup is like a revolution I hope that it works.
This should be the first real match for Caparos. Today we can see if anything is changing for the better or not, or at least have a better idea on that for the remaining matches until the end.
It’s interesting that 1-2 consecutive wins could mean we’re safe for the season, but could also increase our hopes for the 8th place.
This match today is the last train for any European hope.
