Let’s go!
Lots of sloppy passing by Sevilla, Nyland saves when it looks like a goal.
Saul has to get the ball off his feet. He’s given several away now thinking he is faster than he really is.
I’m not sure if Sevilla are better without Saul. Rayo with two players injured and it’s the right time for Sevilla to get a bit of control on the game.
Stupid gift fouls. I really hate them in scoring areas.
Both sides cancelled each other out. They were slightly better before the 2 injuries they got. We have grown into it since then. We are getting joy on the left side with Pedrosa and Vargas.
Both players looked good and our threat to a goal is down that side. Let’s hope we can stay solid and our attacking players can step up more. We have a chance to win this but I’d take a draw too.
Vamos Sevilla!
Started threatening, but our attacks waned for most of the half. We’re not getting value out of Juanlu in the middle, and he’s barely noticeable. (He needs to play on the wing!!!)
Worried about the few chances we gave away, cause they seemed preventable. The longer we stay in this game the better. We our counters are potent, and more space will open up. Let’s hope Pimienta recognizes when changes are needed this time.
I’m sure we are better without Saul, he and Juanlu in midfield does not work
We’ve definitely been getting the Chelsea version of Saul as of late, but there aren’t any better options on the bench. Agoume has gone backwards from last season, and hasn’t been getting enough match practice to improve. It would be nice to see Peque play in the hole, but he seems to be in the doghouse.
Huge from Nyland there after a terrible give away from Salas.
This! He pops up maybe once per game in that position.
So many of those type goals given up this year.
Carmona & Salas are terrible at handling the ball out of defense. This is embarrassingly common.
Now let’s see how long it takes Pimienta make a change.
Not the prettiest game to attend, @Ethan …in terms of stadium, in terms of weather, in terms of results, in terms of game play…
