It’s incredible to me that I somehow listened to the Himno so many times in ita first year or so of existence that I memorized that whole thing without ever so much as picking up a piece of paper to read it.

Btw! This isn’t the Himno. The old farts at the Peñas will rake you over the coals for that. The official Himno is very old fashioned and basically sucks if you ask me. But this one is the Himno del Centenario. Don’t piss off don Ignacio and don Alberto at the Peña. Might have to find somewhere else to watch the match if you make that mistake

haha I am pretty sure no one knows the old one except those old farts.

I still struggle with this. As a non-Spanish speaker, it is really challenging to learn.

Upon listening, I had forgotten how attached I had actually grown to this himno back before I had something better.

In summary, I hope the great spirit of sevillismo can forgive me for saying this one was bad. It’s actually pretty nostalgic for me.
