Friendly: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sevilla FC [2022]

Yeah, that has to be special for Bryan.

The match make me wonder why the hell doesn’t Monchi cash out Ocampos Suso YEN/Mir or even Jordan and get a decent winger?
We can’t rely on Acuna & Navas on the wing for ever

100%. But let Monchi cook

Pedro Ortiz always impresses in these types of matches.

Hope he’s getting close to 100% purity this batch.

Was about to say, this is when Monchi decided he will get Cavani.

We should sell Jordan and Mir (to begin with) first thing in the morning tomorrow.

We deserved to win this one, good performance in overall.

Imagine waking up the next day, half the squad is sold after a first pre season game

although I would like us to be more ready, because when the season starts and we get some late transfers it takes so long to get going most of the times.

I’ve lost my patience with them since last season… really can’t see them getting any better. We need a decent midfielder and a real striker up front.

Players who didn’t play: Bono, Marcao, Delaney, Suso, En-Nesyri. Apart from Suso, all these players started pre-season training a bit later than the others.

Pretty good performance from us for the first pre season game. Vamos Sevilla!

Missed part of the 1st half, but was happy to see Fernando play again. It was good to see how much we worked on our pressing. A lot of sliding challenges too. I’m a big fan of Jose Angel. Naturally a RB, I’m not sure if CB is where he’ll play long-term, but he’s a solid defender.

And how many more times will Rakitic bail us out? Tremendous strike. Loved seeing him & Ortiz as a tandem in the middle.

Next up: Sporting Clube de Portugal aka Sporting Lisbon [Sunday July 24th – 20:45 CET]

Found this is the Reddit thread :joy:

I was about to say why don’t we invite all of those commenters in the forums, only to figure out that it is a general soccer thread with worldwide fans involved.

I don’t actively post on Reddit, but is there someone on the Reddit Sevilla page and not here? We should get them all in the forums.

Most of the r/SevillaFC forum are here, and it’s pretty inactive anyway.

Those of us on r/soccer are pretty good about inviting new Sevilla fans when we see them pop up though.

Thank God someone else has been watching the same matches as me this past season. Insane that those two guys are still frequent starters for our squad.
