So the Fifa 21 player ratings will be released soon. The top 100 have already been released and Sevilla didn’t have one player on the list. Our top rated player and only rating that has been released so far is Jesus Navas at 84.
Guess the ratings of our players this year:
Hopefully they’ve made Diego Carlos and Kounde stronger, as they were very slow and immobile in FIFA 20 ps4. Also Reguilon was like… Fernando Navarro or so. What a shame from EA.
They will have to lower some players to keep the balance I think otherwise we will be over rated compared to others I imagine. Or maybe not because we are SUPER SEVILLA winner of the next LA LIGA. haha I don´t know i´ll go a bit lower here and there.
Games like this are always a popularity contest, even role players at big clubs get that ratings boost no one ever finds sensible. After playing FIFA and PES for a bit I never really got the overall rating system, each player and position are different so using an overall rating system to shoe everyone in didn’t make lot of sense. The PES heydays where a pentagon was used to show each player’s strengths were better but even they succumbed to ratings. Football manager is the game I go for these days, unavoidably biased at times but bearable.
Not surprising, games like this just cater to the most popular teams so expect the entire Premier League and maybe even the Championship to have fully life-like faces and formations; for Bundesliga Bayern and Dortmund will be up to date and for Serie A Juventus, Inter and probably Napoli and Milan (due to Zlatan). Real and Barca will be La Liga’s representatives followed by Atletico and even Valencia, never had high hopes for Sevilla representation but having Gomez and Torres starting is really taking the piss.
Looking forward to FM21, if they ever fix the Match Engine for target men I might be able to get De Jong firing like in real life.
Weird from EA again. To be honest I only purchased the 21 edition to play it online as there are usually more people in the newer editions. I don’t like the new game that much, resembles FIFA 18 a bit but it’s worse. 20 was still ok. But oh well
I think they do a decent job overall. Some of these are head scratchers for sure, and De Jong going down makes sense considering he belted 32 goals in 18/19 compared to 10 last year. Bono’s lack of regular season playing time probably made them pause. I’m sure they just look at stats and base it off that.
