Acuna and Fernando will most likely be unavailable for the derby on Saturday. It’s still now known whether that’s because of injuries or covid. Dmitrovic has left the last training session early too, no specific reason reported.
Tecatito is available and could very easily start the match. Debuting in the derby… who would’ve thought?

I wanted Real Madrid to go to extra time and win so they were more tired, risked injury, and more games etc. Them being out the copa allows them to focus more on the league. Not good for us but it is what it is.
I think :poop: will probably win it now to be honest.

Yeah I guess. Hopefully they get past PSG but not sure how that plays out. Just to keep them in another competition will distract them a bit.
It’s good for Spanish football though to see different sides making the last 4 of the cup. Nice to see none of the big 3 have dominated or even won the copa del Rey for a while now.

Bilbao have taken out both Barca and RM. It’s not the same now but if you’ve done that in the past it meant you’ll get the CDR. But puta Betiss olle! are a real threat now and might end up winning it - thanks to us for providing them the much needed momentum.
Not sure if I’ll watch the semis but might watch the final and I’m rooting for Bilbao to win it with Rayo right after them.

At this point I fully expect Athletic to take home the cup. They seem almost unbeatable when it comes to the Copa del Rey.

I didn’t watch the Sociedad v :poop: game but according to the press the result was flattering, not much between the teams.
I did watch Bryan Gil turn out for Valencia and he looked real useful.

Final Game :poop: vs Valencia
First half tied 1-1. :poop: came out strong with a header from Iglesias at 10 minutes. Valencia responded at 30 minutes with a sweet chip from Duro after a nice breakaway. Overall a strong performance from both sides.
Looking for Valencia to pull away in the second half.
