Oso was amazing and MOTM imo followed closely by Issac. Both with a goal and an assist.
Agoume also had a very good game. How about that defense as well. First time Castrin and Sangante has played together.

It would be a huge loss if we sell Agoume at this point. He finally seems to click well with a pair in this case Guridi and is owning the midfield.

My boss had the nerve to call me for some ad-hoc crap from the neighbouring team 15 minutes before kick-off so I missed the first half, the red and the goal. Saw the second and was quite impressed until around 65 minutes when they got a few chances and scored.
I like how the team is fighting and really putting that extra effort in, Sangante and Agoume threw themselves at everything, Oso was running all game and Ejuke did that Messi-esque lob which probably keeps him on the team or increases his value by another 5m. Romero kept snapping at defender’s ankles. Good signs indeed. Ure looked lethargic but give him time, new signings need time to acclimatize with the league and know their teammates.
A few asterisks, this Bilbao team was not at full strength and played almost the entire game with 10 men, a fair amount of 50/50s went our way too. There were also a few instances in the last 25 minutes or so where the difference in experience or quality showed.
Still a win is a win and getting points on the board as early as possible reduces the chances and pressure of a relegation fight. I’ll take it.
Frame and hang that already, can’t even recall the last time Sevilla were on top of the table, was it during Machin’s tenure?

Just watched the highlights, three very nice finishes. Also loving the 90s all white look, something Nike seemed rather against giving us if a clash of socks. Thank you Adidas.
