Iāve hated on Kike Salas a lot (for good reason) but that was quite a strike. He seems to be a lot more athletic in the fullback position than he does at CB.

Fantastic win and performance tonight. Really turned on the style and could have won by more than we did.
Yes it was a poor Almeria side who looked all over the place in defence and will struggle to stay up on that evidence, but it was still a great display, the best Iāve seen in a long time and you can only beat what is in front of you and we sure did that. Canāt recall the last time we scored five goals. We actually scored five! Confidence going into the game against Barca.
Lukebakio is absolute quality. What a signing he is. The kind of player weāve been crying out for and he has greatly improved our attacking play.

Couldnāt watch the match, but it seems like an awesome win for us.
5-1 is never an easy feat, even against the likes of Almeria (probably a relegation contender this season).
Hopefully this can bring some momentum especially going into the Barca game, which could then again kill this same momentum lol.

Letās hope itās only the start but what weāve seen from Lukebakio, Pedrosa and Sow all makes them quality signings and a great pleasure to watch. Grateful for all of them. Sow is so good, will soon pop off harder if he gets to finish some of his box entrances sooner or later. Love how stoic and dynamic he is, great team player.

Agree that it wasnāt a pen and the disallowed Lukebakio goal was harsh as well.
Thankfully didnāt impact us this time. No doubt Barca will get the decisions their way on Friday!

Re the pen. Carlos del Cerro Grande was on VAR duty, so no words needed as to why the refereeās decision was not questioned.

Yeah sadly thatās true true. However, they will need the refs help if we play like that again. It was a great performance all round. Exciting to see and the future is brighter due to the new signings.
