Well observed Tyler, Nyland played well for the most part
Didnât want to jinx anything, but was reading this morning that QSF has now played in Mestalla 8 times with FOUR different rival clubs (five clubs if you include Valencia). He has NEVER won when visiting Mestalla (five losses and 3 draws). And honestly, today almost looked like he didnât want to win.
Anyhow, Iâll chalk it up to lacking Ocampos rather than sabotage, but the statistics speak for themselves.
A point is never to be sniffed at playing at the Mestalla. Seven points from the last three is a great return and we have some breathing space on the relegation zone.
The performance wasnât the best and we created very little. Tactics were negative and we were set up for a draw. Think the game also showed how much we rely on Ocampos.
Well we havenât lost in February⌠Letâs keep that streak next week!
Counting the draw against Osasuna at the end of January, we are unbeaten in four games and have picked up eight points.
Two clean sheets in a row in this period and just two goals conceded.
Our best run of the season.

Most of them wouldâve been given to RM and/or Barca
2 more things:
Kike Salas had an impressive performance in this match.
Hannibal deserves more minutes⌠maybe a full game after the RM match?
Overall itâs a good point for us. Valencia have been very good this season and at home. We didnât play well going forward but to get a 0-0 not playing well overall shows big signs of improvement and a more United team. A lot of credit has to go to Quique SĂĄnchez Flores making us harder to beat again.
I donât think there was much credit to be given. If we were Valencia this match, you would have said we definitely should have won the game. And you wouldnât blame it on their coach either. So now itâs better to reserve that as well. Otherwise you are just result basing again, going back to the same Lopetegui Hosanna for some here.
That the result is great yes. But this was not on Quique.
