David Carmona announced today on Twitter that he would be leaving Sevilla even though he has a contract through June 2019. To me this is very disappointing. While he is 21 and hasn’t gotten any real first team action, it is another youngster moving out of the system which further hurts our future development and hampers our homegrown requirements for tournaments.
He looks to be signing with Leganes which would be great if he gets first team La Liga action. Hopefully he can find his way back home if he develops.

What are your hopes for season? Can Pablo Machin, create history at this club? You think he’s the right man, we need to boost our squad, especially up front, in centre mid and defence.
