I’ve always enjoyed him as a player. He was never outstanding, but serviceable. I can’t imagine that he can still be a one and he struggled recently while with the national team. ---

I mean he scored 15 goals this season in a struggling Leeds team I think he’d be a great signing on a 2 year deal or something. Especially on a free or the 3.5 million euros that’s being reported. ---

Agreed, If we sign Rodrigo this early in the window, great start. Apparently max 3m because of Leeds demotion. Awesome player. ---

Been hearing two different versions, either the club signs him outright for 3.5m or on loan for the final year of his contract and see how it goes. Brings experience and also expectation the club will offload some other attacking players. Vasco tried to lure Fernando back to Brazil but he rejected and is in the final year of his contract here. Apparently two other Leeds players could join Rodrigo. These are Marc Roca and Jack Harrison. ---

Yeh Llorente and Sinisterra good call. Rumours around Montiel leaving as well. Calling Maffeo of Mallorca as a substitute, hard working guy but pretty mediocre in quality wise. Not saying he can’t do decent but I’m not a huge fan. I’m a fan of things moving quick and direct business tho ---

I’d be cautious if not sceptical about the rumours. He generates a lot of noise as he’s the new star of Turkey. He doesn’t seem to be ready for a top tier team, so playing at Sevilla for a year or two might be good for all parties. I wonder whether a Bayern, RM or EPL team take a punt on him just to stop other teams getting him first… Also there’s a fair bit of drama at Fenerbahce regarding their presidency, so whether they’re willing to sell their star player right now is another matter. ---

I second this. But when the big clubs come knocking at the door of such youngsters, they often still choose for them. Ajax apparently was in talks with Güler and completely backed out because his ‘wages were out of our reach’ and ‘his family demands far too much money’. So I am almost convinced we have no real shot at actually signing him. ---

Apparently we’re interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Fabio Silva. Orta planning an overhaul of the forward line with Rodrigo coming in as well as Mir and YEN potentially making way as part of a rebuild to balance the books and reduce the wage bill. ---
