According to [this article](https://www.abc.es/deportes/orgullodenervion/fichajes-sevilla-fc/sevilla-quiere-fichar-alfon-perla-cantera-celta-20250401125206-nts.html) in ABC Sevilla, Sevilla FC have signed their first player for the 2025/2026 season, Alfon González from Celta Vigo.

González is out of contract in June and would be coming on a free. The 25-year-old winger has scored 3 goals with 2 assists in 18 La Liga matches, along with 3 goals and 3 assists in 3 Copa Del Rey matches. He is a product of the Celta system, but has been loaned out to multiple teams along the way. Last season, 23/24, González scored 15 goals with 7 assists in 40 matches with RC Celta Fortuna.

This hasn’t of course been confirmed by anyone at either teams and Celta have made an offer to renew, but it looks like Sevilla maybe in the drivers seat.

I don’t know him, but this is the sad times we live in now where if we bring in anyone, it’ll have to be on a free as from everything I’m seeing, we are still in massive amount of debt that doesn’t appear to be going away any time soon.

Rumors of layoffs at the club too. Trying times.
