I was just about to post that. Played soccer 8 years ago or so with a French guy who showed up in full Le Bleus kit and that’s when I learned how not cool it is for an adult to do that.

Unfortunately, Sevilla lacks the worldwide appeal of Nike’s top tier clubs or we would get the same treatment. It’s up to people like us to expose others to Sevilla and draw in more fans.

PSG has Neymar and Mbappe. Leipzig, I have no argument. Tottenham is EPL and unfortunately, EPL and Champions League are by far the 2 biggest yearly soccer leagues in the world.

Definitely can’t wait to see no more Nike. I honestly believe in general big teams or not, Nike and Adidas and probably even puma have got so boring. The only 2 exceptions to that in recent years for me: couple of Roma and A.Madrid kits.
I always get excited for new kit releases (just love seeing everyone’s kits) and they are always a let down.
Years ago kits were original and exciting and were a fair price. For the money you have to pay these days, surely someone can do better

That’s my concern as well. How is anyone at Nike satisfied with their logo being on a shirt like that? It’s as if having the contract is the only important thing. I guess that’s the corporate world for ya…

What baffles me more, I’m a season ticket holder at AFC Fylde in the conference North. Our owner is a millionaire and with under armour he basically tells them what he wants. If it’s not exactly how he likes it, he refuses to use it.
Every season we go through a lot of designs before the final product is done. Don’t get me wrong some of them are still questionable, but that’s the unfortunate taste of the owner 
But the point I’m trying to make is, how can an owner of a 6th tier team in England get what he wants/control over under armour and with previously adidas and kappa. When a team of Sevilla’s success and stature struggle with Nike. Maybe that’s why they will change and hopefully get better service from Castore or NB or wherever we end up.

The Club survey revealed that 448 people didn’t like the new kit, 369 did.
That’s 53% not happy with the new shirts.
Which basically means someone at the club or Orgullo de Nervion can’t do maths.

Or another unfortunate possibility. Sevilla FC isn’t making Nike as much money as Nike hoped, so Nike doesn’t want to put resources into our club. At the end of the day Nike has one goal. Make money. If they don’t feel like this relationship is working out then they’ll lose interest. If that’s the case, I hope they at least gave our club the option of terminating the contract early to go with someone more interested.

I could be wrong but as a former Inter fan, Inters 17/18 away kit is the same template as our 3rd jersey this year but with different colors.

You’re right about that pattern for sure. What my eyes noticed was the exact shape of the sleeves compared to the main body. How the color of the sleeve comes up the shoulder to end at the neckline. Either way it’s a low effort jersey from Nike.
