Sevilla kit Talk

Definitely underwhelming, but I must say that something just feels right about Adidas kits. It’s just football in a sense that a lot of other manufacturers aren’t.

It’s clean and simple. I don’t hate it, but hope the others bring some creativity.

I agree, nothing special

Yeah, perhaps since the deal seems like it was just signed a month or two ago, Adidas was like “we can get you one finished jersey into production by July 1, but it’ll have to be a simple one, it’ll take until August to get something more creative done”…

Fingers crossed, I generally like the Away jersey better anyways!

I agree about the away kits. Something about the red shirts just feels right.

And they don’t stain as easy when you drop your coffee on them

Shots fired :joy:

Usually training gear grabs my attention most. Got to wait for that too…

When we got linked with Adidas I got myself an Adidas (tennis) shirt and short. First Adidas clothing I’ve ever owned. And my god - best quality sports shirt I’ve ever had without a doubt! Really puts Nike, Puma, New Balance, Warrior and Castore to shame. It could also have something to do with the sports focus, not sure. But you bet I am praying to God that the Sevilla gear will be of the same standard - because I would buy it all if it is.

Well, there’s a few more details to the away-kit, but I still think they both look more like Adidas-shirts than Sevilla-shirts.

Looks like i’ll save some money yet another season.

Basically the inverse of the home kit with a full collar.

Feels like there’s been no effort put into these designs, they’ll probably call them “timeless” or “classic”.

It is probably a me thing, but I hate collared shirts. Guess we are skipping this year. Maybe the third kit will be better. I also generally avoid wearing white because I am pasty enough already…I dont need the white shirt to highlight it even more…lol

I suppose I’ll abide by the rule of “if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all”.

Or, looking for bright spots, at least the jersey is red and white.

Holding out for a stellar third kit. Or enjoying an extra $80 in my wallet this fall.

Or another way of damning with faint praise: this kit made me look back at the First Kit and think “oh, wow, that white one isn’t that bad after all”

Me too! I can’t imagine the players like that shit either? All flopping around when they run, kind of like my man boobs.

For a new brand and the hype surrounding addidas which is the leading marque, both white and red, seem lazy designs, quite underwhelming really..

Maybe the bland designs are because they haven’t had time to design something good before the season starts to get not only player’s kits made, but enough to stock the team and adidas stores before the season?

I’m sure that is it, coupled with the fact that Sevilla probably doesn’t sell well outside of Sevilla local.

Sevilla has got to be better with building the brand
