Sevilla FC Summer 2025/Winter 2026 Transfer Rumors

He got Banfield promoted back to the top flight in Argentina, he won Concacaf Champions League with Chivas – who have a similar player code like Athletic Bilbao, and won the Greek Super League. He also got the San Jose Earthquakes into the MLS playoffs, which is an accomplishment of itself, due to fact he had to work under same tire fire ownership that made MLB’s Athletics homeless. I should be optimistic that this is a good hire? Thoughts?

Does anyone know what style of football he sets his teams out to play? Looks a great appointment on paper and former player too..

He’s a great coach, but he’ll need a team.

He’s very outspoken and direct, and doesn’t let management get to him, which could be his downfall…

To be honest it sounds optimistic as well as getting cordon too. Both are positive appointments and seem an upgrade on what we had.

The issue though is we got no money, a useless and corrupt board and poor quality squad. It very difficult for any manager to work with this board so hopefully changes happen at top in near future.

Both guys are capable but only if they given the tools to work. If they not given money and there is poor leadership we won’t see the best of them. They aren’t miracle workers. However, Almeyda and Cordon can at least try to improve on last season. They swimming against the tide but there is hope.

If we can now get a sale and new rich/ambitious owners and board with these guys we can be cooking again and return to fighting for titles and playing in Europe where we belong.

Vamos mi Sevilla!

Apparently we have signed Gakpo from Liverpool..

Surely not?! His wages would be way beyond Sevilla’s wage cap

He tends to play 4-2-3-1. He’s known for using a man marking system, with high intensity pressing all over the pitch. He encourages teams to counter attack quickly, using direct passes.

I like what I’ve read and his record sounds impressive so hoping it will work out.

Some reason for optimism with Almeyda and Cordon at the helm.

Orbelín Pineda has been linked with us.

Mexican midfielder, 29, and one of the top priorities for Almeyda, who knows him well from their time together at AEK Athens and previously at Chivas.

Pineda is able to play as a deep-lying, roaming or more advanced playmaker.

Looks exactly the type of player we need.

Several Italian and Spanish clubs are interested in Giovanni Simeone, including Sevilla.

Seen a few reports that we’re eyeing up Pablo Torre from Barca.

Arsenal have been linked with Agoume meanwhile.

Haven’t had the chance to watch Carrasco’s press conference yet, but judging from the reactions, not much to take away? He intends to turn the situation around, at the same time not being accountable for how bad it got.

That was pretty much the summary I read.

Interesting. Not sure how true.

The Agoume to Arsenal rumors are heating up. Seems that would be a good bit of business, although I think he’s going to develop into quite the player.

Seeing Bono’s performances with Al Hilal in the CWC makes me quite jealous.. he’s still in super-form.

Can we somehow, miraculously get him in this transfer window?

What a dream that would be. Still fairly young as well for a keeper.
