I only vaguely caught the Ballon d’Or thing this week, can anyone send an explainer/TLDR?
Rodri won it. Vini must have been given a heads up he wouldn’t win because he was too butthurt to show up and be a gracious runner-up. The explanation I have seen being thrown around is that Vini and Bellingham split some of the vote, thus coming in 2nd and 3rd.
His name popped up in my head, decided to look what’s up with him. Now plays for “Inter Sevilla” or “Inter Dos Hermanas” but is located in Gerena, Sevilla. I don’t understand at all… Anyways, I won’t forget this guy for his epic goals against Espanyol way back when!
