Oh, and 10pts clear of BetisFem btw. 😉 I’m glad that Payne & Coleman are still here, but i will definitely miss Claudia Pina. She returned to Barça from her loan spell. How are we gonna replace those 9G & 8A? 😅 First game this Sunday away to Eibar. #VamosMiSevilla #NuncaTeRindas ---

Three Americans (if you count Payne) on this squad now! Toro - what a great name for a futbolista! She’s Chilean. ---

Midfield having a hard time generating attacks, so we’re relying heavily on the counter. And that’s exactly where the goal came from, thru none other than **Toni Payne** on 40 minutes. Great solo effort as she surrounded by a few Madrid defenders, and was able to slot it in at a tight angle. Great finish. A couple debuts on show: **Nazaret** (17yo) at RB, and 🇺🇸 **Vasconcelos** getting her first start for the club. ---

**FT: Sevilla FC 2-2 Madrid CFF** A point deserved against one of the stronger teams in LaLiga Iberdrola. Twice we took the lead in this match, but unable to hold on to the win as Madrid’s quality showed itself, especially on their 2nd equalizer. There was some rotation in today’s lineup, but it seems things are progressing well despite not yet recording a win this season. A decent debut by Vasconcelos, as it was a busy day in midfield. She played in the hole but couldn’t link with the forwards often. But she provided good support in defence, especially in helping the fullbacks mark their dangerous wide players. Away to Valencia on Sunday (7AM EST // 1PM CET), who are also searching for their 1st win (currently leading vs Athletic Club). Vamos Mi Sevilla ! ---

Penalty scored by Jess Martinez in the 80th minute. 3-0 Sevilla ! Thought it was a botched 2 on 1 counter by Payne & Vasconcelos, but the latter was fouled as she drove into the box. ---

Just as you say that, they win a phantom penalty… AND IT IS SAVED !!! Very poor effort, but the clean sheet is still intact. 😁 ---

![image](https://forum.monchismen.com/uploads/default/original/2X/e/eacf8b75d64bf1ce96ef1186134d22fdbbce872f.jpeg) Points shared in the 1st Gran Derbi of the season b/w the women. Toni Payne came in to start the 2nd half, but it wasn’t enough, as :poop:’ keeper made some crucial saves – one at the line & another point blank. Very physical match as well, all in typical derbi fashion. We’ll get 'em next time!
