Went to AEK Athens - PAOK yesterday. AEK have a few Sevilla connections. Their manager Matías Almeyda played for you in the season you went down in the 1990s. Martial and Lamela also play for them. The first was injured but Lamela had a decent game and put them 2-0 up in the first 55 minutes when they were dominant, but then they collapsed and lost 2-3. Good stadium and atmosphere even if the process of getting tickets is complicated.

Not related to football, but funny nonetheless.

(Prishtina, capital of Kosovo) Intelligent stray dog waiting for the traffic light to turn green before crossing the road

And of course, now he manages you. Not exactly the best of omens.

Better not curse us like the Orta Leeds guy

Congratulations to Bono on the epic upset today.

10 saves by Bono in that match!

Looks like a typical giant killer upset: Man City’s stats are stacked but somehow couldn’t get past Bono.

Some unbelievable saves too.

RIP Diogo Jota

RIP. Wolves are my English team and Jota played a critical role in getting us promoted back to the top flight where we’ve remained since. Horrible news, especially since his brother, only 26 and a 2nd level Portuguese player, died in the same accident.

So sad. Heart goes out to his family and especially those three precious sons. :frowning:

Saw him play & score against Sevilla at Anfield in August.

Sad news. He was only recently married.
