He hasn’t performed badly, but we need the best version of Papu for the coming month, starting from Saturday’s match vs. Barca. We need some screamer goals and some assists and some movements etc. - simply, some awesomeness from Papu! Ocampos will probably not be ready until April so if Papu doesn’t help us (a lot), Suso can’t do it on his own. We could also make use of Munir who is doing quite well lately. ---

Kid’s syrups getting stronger and stronger huh… If accidental very unfortunate, he helped us out at the start when we were deep down in Lope Land with some contribution and at the end by not making it difficult to leave. Seems a really good guy. ---

A bético view here would be this, not saying it’s true, just that it’s a likely theory: that once he got caught with the juice, he had to stop taking it and couldn’t play at the same pace and that explains his dip in form… Doesn’t seem to square with the facts, but anyhow, just thinking through how the history will rewrite the Papi story. Some claiming this tarnishes the Argentina world cup, but that’s obviously a bit silly ---

I could totally see this. He was caught with a bronchodilator. I’ve had asthma since I was five, and my performance drops drastically with only one or two missed doses.
